Hey friend!

As we get closer to the winter holidays, I'm getting all excited but also feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done. But guess what? I've come up with a super easy winter decoration idea that you can whip up in just about 30 minutes!

It's a lovely display that you can place on various surfaces like a mantel, buffet, sofa table, dining table, or a deep shelf. Let's make our spaces feel festive together!

real look cedar cascading bush

First of all, I selected a fantastic greenery item that appears very natural. I opted for a lengthy, cascading bush, but you could choose a shorter garland or a collection of standard picks - whichever you prefer! The key is to ensure that your greenery appears as realistic as can be. Below is the link to the bush that I used.

Next I added in a simple riser for height on the right side of my arrangement. Varying heights are always an important part of making your display pleasing to the eye. You can also use books to rise pieces as well!

After that, I positioned the riser in the cedar on the right side of the display, followed by placing a Santa figurine with a wood-carved appearance on the riser, along with an iron reindeer. Here are the links to those items.

On the left of the display I added another woodland Santa with a larger iron deer. I love how the wood tones of the Santa blend so well with the rustic cedar with pinecones!

Lastly I added in some rustic ornaments to fill in the empty spots and add some interest. Choose pieces that have natural texture in brown tones.

If you stop here, you'll achieve a charming natural rustic look, but guess what? You can take it to the next level by adding some lights. Trust me, adding lights to your display can really set the mood and create a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially in the evening. It's like magic!

Now I’m feeling much more relaxed about the holidays…how about you?
